Fourteen Days Tour

Negombo, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwaraeliya, Ella, Yala, South Cost Beach.

Day 01:
At the airport you will be grated by the chauffer who is staying during the whole tour. He will transfer you to hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02:

In the morning after breakfast start the journey from the hotel to Anuradhapura and you will guide to the Historical City of Anuradhapura. Located in the North Central Province, by the way, you will pass the city call Puttalam there you can see one of the biggest lagoons in Sri Lanka. 

The lagoon is surrounded by a region containing coconuts, open forests, grasslands, and shrublands. The land is used for prawn fishing, salt production, and rice cultivation. The lagoon has extensive mangroves, sea grasses and some salt marshes, attracting a wide variety of antidote. After words you will reach the historical city Anuradhapura there you will visit the place Mihintale, Mihintale is a mountain peak near Anuradhapura in Sri Lanka.

It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and king Devanampiyathissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures and there you can enjoy the beautiful green surrounding on the top of the mountain. Day 03:
After the breakfast visit the Sacred City of Anuradhapura is a magical place. Featuring some of the most ancient archaeological treasures in Sri Lanka, this vast heritage site is an impressive reminder of an ancient civilization. You feel overwhelmed at scale of ancient Anuradhapura. 

You will guide to the Anuradhapura historical old city, at the centre of the ancient city is the Mahavihara, the oldest of the city’s monasteries. Worshippers still come to meditate here, drawn to the Sri Maha Bodhi, grown from the original tree under which the Buddha attained enlightenment in Northern India.

The Thuparama stupa was the first stupa to be built in Sri Lanka and enshrines the Buddha’s right collarbone. Standing before the red –brick Jetavana dagoba – once the third tallest structure in the world – is an awesome experience. The Abhayagiri dagoba is still covered in earth and vegetation, while the more famous Ruvanvalisaya dagoba, fully restored, is beautifully illuminated at night. 

The magnificent Kuttam pokuna or ‘twin pond’ with their stone steps are well preserved but all the remains of the Brazen Palace – once a nine-stores structure with 1,000 rooms – is 1,600 granite columns. The Isurumuniya rock temple houses a famous 5th c. AD Indian-style sculpture known at the lovers.
Anuradhapura is nestled between three vast reservoirs known as tanks – the Basawakkulama, the Tissa Lake and the Nuwara Lake. The raised bunds of the tanks are perfect for an evening stroll and some bird-watching, while also offering great views of the city’s dagobas. Explore the history, culture and the surrounding nature and back to hotel.

Day 04:
After having breakfast from the hotel starts the journey to Trincomalee. Trincomalee is the administrative headquarters of the Trincomalee District and major resort port city of Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. 

Located on the east coast of the island overlooking the Trincomalee Harbour and it is one of the World’s best deep harbors. By the way just 22km before reach Trincomalee you can visit a magical place call Kanniya where you can see the Seven Hot Water Springs. There are seven wells in a square shape. Wells are only 3–4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperature is considerably high but vary from one spring to another. 

Wells run out of water, when 10-15 buckets of water are taken out. After words drive to Trincomalee where it’s offers some of the best beaches in the east. From Trincomalee, through Uppuweli, Nilaweli to Kuchchaveli this coast is amply gifted with white sands and isolated clear shallow beaches, there you can stay in a best and nice beach side hotel and you can just relax and spend your time on the beach.

Day 05:
After the breakfast you can spend your day your own on the beach and the hotel relax or also there are a number of tourist spots in the city of Trincomalee. One can visit the Koneswaram Rock Hindu Temple, Thirukonesvaram Kovil, Fort Fredrick and World War II cemetery and you can manage some time to visit some places like that

Day 06:
In the morning after your breakfast from the hotel you can take boat journey to the Pigeon Island National Park. Pigeon Island National Park is one of the two marine national parks of Sri Lanka. 

The national park is situated 1 km off the coast of Nilaveli. This island got its name because of the Rock Pigeons live over there. In year 2003 Pigeon Island was designated as a nation park in Sri Lanka. Earlier it was a sanctuary. This island was used by British army as a place for shooting practice in early world war time, in the Island you can climb-up the rocks and get the view of the surrounding. 

You can see the real owners of the island, the pigeons in the other side of the island and also there you can have a Snorkeling trip to see colorful fishes and Corals enjoy the abundant sea life under water after finish the Pigeon Island tour relax the rest of the day on the beach.

Day 07:
Enjoy the breakfast and you will be headed to Sigiriya. Sigiriya is world famous place because of the Lion’s Rock the name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high.

On the top “Sky fortress” with rained brick buildings water and sewage systems which is built by king “Kashayapa” on 5th century. It’s a UNESCO world heritage since 1982. You can climb the Lion’s Rock explore the history and enjoy the view of fascinating blue surrounding area from the top.

Day 08:
Enjoy the breakfast and you will be headed to Polonnaruwa. It was the second capital of Sri Lanka where the kings ruled proudly. There you can lay eyes on rained ancient royal place.

The biggest man built lake. Rock carved Buddha statues and the great ancient city of kingdom of Polonnaruwa. On the way back to hotel you can have a Sri Lankan Ayurvedic spa to liberate your tiredness.

Day 09:
After enjoying the breakfast you will visit Dambulla you can explore the famous Dambulla golden rock cave temple a sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries which has intricate patterns of religious images and afterwards you will be directed to Kandy

The last kingdom in Sri Lanka. On the way you will be guided to Sri Lankan spicy and herbal plantation garden in Matale area. There you can have a free explanation of herbals. Afterwards you will be directed to the hotel in Kandy you were rested. In Kandy You can visit the sacred temple of tooth relic of Buddha.

Day 10:
In the morning after the breakfast you can take a tour to the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage. Which houses the abandoned and the wounded elephants here you can watch them been feeding and bathing. 

Afterwards visit the Peradeniya botanical garden, which was a pleasure garden of a kandyan king of the 16th century and after British made it to a Botanical Garden. Now it is full of various kinds of colorful flowers, trees and beautiful environment with lots of Sri Lankan singing birds. Afternoon you will guided to see the Kandy view point and you can work by the beautiful Kandy lake. You can enjoy the Sri Lankan cultural show with lots of dancers, drummers and fireworks in the evening.

Day 11:
Enjoy the breakfast from hotel start dive to “Little England” called Nuwaraeliya. Along the way to the city with glooming surrounding you can visit a tea factory and a tea plantation. 

In town you can see British type buildings all over. Then you can relax near the Gregary Lake.

Day 12:
After the early breakfast you are going to visit the most spectacular eye catching place which is the Horton planes national park. It is very famous for varies kinds of highland animals and birds also the world’s end. 

You can see the glooming morning sunrise too. Afterwards you can have a train journey from highland station. To Ella train station by observing. In this journey you can enjoy with seen the real country side, tea fields and the highest mountains in Sri Lanka. Chauffeur will pick you up at Ella train station. In Ella you will see the little Adam’s peak. Then you can relax in natural surrounding hotel.

Day 13:
After the breakfast visit the one of beautiful waterfall called Ravana falls then start to drive to Yala. On the way to Yala you can see wonderful views around your road.

 Yala National Park is the most visited by tourist and locals and the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. It is covers 979 square kilometers. Yala is a one of famous place of wildlife lovers in Sri Lanka and all around the world. Yala is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, leopard much more animals and aquatic birds. In afternoon you can go on a jeep for a safari in Yala jungle.

Day 14:
After your breakfast drive through the south coast of Sri Lanka depend on your plan we will drop you from south beach

(any of Hambantota, Tangalle, Mirissa, Ahangama, Unawatuna, Galle Fort, Hikkaduwa or Bentota

or drop to airport or Negombo for your departure, If you have time, we could also visit places such as Dondra lighthouse, blow hole in Dickwella, Weligama fishing village or turtle breeding farm on the way back.
