Take a journey from Negombo or Colombo to the ancient cities of Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa and back to hotel in the evening or overnight in a hotel in Sigiriya

Early in the morning, we start the journey from the hotel to Sigiriya and Dambulla, by the way you can pass well-grown Coconut states and Pineapple growing farms and visit one also. Afterward, you will pass the City called Dambulla. In Dambulla, you can have a quick look around the golden rock cave temple, due to its location at a major junction and it’s the center of the vegetable distribution city in the country. Then you will direct to Sigiriya.

Sigiriya is a UNESCO world heritage since 1982 which is built by king “Kashayapa” in the 5th century. In there you can climb the Lions Rock and on the top, you can see the “Sky fortress” with rained brick buildings, water, and sewage systems, and the fascinating blue surrounding area. After Sigiriya, you will be headed to Polonnaruwa. It was the second capital of Sri Lanka where the kings ruled proudly.

There you can lay eyes on rained ancient royal places, Sri Lanka’s biggest man-made lakes, Rock carved Buddha statues, and the great ancient kingdom of Polonnaruwa.

After finishing a beautiful journey, in the evening you can go back to Hotel.
