Take a journey from Negombo or Colombo to ancient city of Kandy via Pinnawala “Elephant Orphanage” and back to Hotel in the evening.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Spicy and Herbal Plantation Garden, Fresh Fruit & Cashew Nut Shops, Royal Botanical Garden, Kandy Temple of Tooth, and Kandy Lake.

Early in the morning we start the journey from the hotel to Kandy, and by the way you can visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which gives houses to the abandoned and the wounded elephants here and you can watch them been feeding and bathing and continue your journey. 

On the way you will be guided to Sri Lankan Spicy and Herbal Plantation Garden. In there you can have a free explanation about herbals, afterwards when you drive your way you will pass the area where they have very fresh fruits and cashew nuts growing and also on the way you can see lots of Fresh Fruit & Cashew Nuts Shops. 

Afterwards you can visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. This was a pleasure garden for the Kandiyan king of the 16th century, and after British invade they made it to a botanical garden. Now it is full of various kinds of colorful flowers, trees and beautiful environment with lots of Sri Lankan singing birds. 

Kandy was the last kingdom of Sri Lanka and is a UNESCO world heritage site. In Kandy you will guided to visit the sacred Temple of Tooth relic of Buddha. You can have a walk around the Kandy Lake and after finish your beautiful journey with enviro tours, in the evening back to Hotel in Negombo or Colombo.
